Ashley and Katelyn stood in front of their extremely aggravated mother, again they had messed up the whole living room with there toys, and this time they hurt there father because when he came home he tripped and hit his head on the table. He had to get stitches on the side of his head and now had a large bald spot there. There mother stood looking down at their long brown tresses, she wanted to punish her girls and make them remember not to disobey her wishes. She took them by the hand and out to the car. She drove down to the barbershop and took them inside. When they entered all but one of the barber chairs were filled. Their mother took Ashley?s hand and told Katelyn to sit in the waiting area. Ashley climbed up into the large red barber chair; she was so small the barber had to get a booster sit. The barber asked Ashley?s mother what she wanted. Her mother said in a loud voice ?Shave a big bald patch on the side of her head.? The barber through the cape over Ashley?s small, now quivering body, he picked up the clippers and pulled up a section of hair on her crown and start the clippers. The hum made Ashley want to jump out of the chair but she couldn?t. The barber started to shave the right side of her head, Ashley was now crying, and when her mother saw this she shouted ?Ashley if you keep crying you will lose more hair then your losing now.? but Ashley couldn?t stop crying, then her mother said to the barber ?shave it all off.? The barber pulled the hair down and starts to shave the little girls head completely bald. The clippers running over her head made Ashley shake more then she was all ready. The sensation was so strange to Ashley, she started to enjoy it, when her mother saw she was enjoying it she asked if there were a way to make this more permanent, and the barber stated that he could use a depilatory but it would sting the girls head. The mother said she wanted this, Ashley started to cry again at the though of never begin able to brush her long locks again. While this was going on another barber finished and asked Katelyn to his chair. Katelyn got in the chair without a sound, the other barber asked if the girl was to have the same haircut as Ashley, the mother said yes. Katelyn didn?t even cry she was too scared of the depilatory. Ashley was now clean shaven and ready for the depilatory, the barber pulled out a blue bottle and then started to pour the liquid on Ashley?s small snow white head, she screamed in pain as the burning took over her head. Katelyn cried with thoughts of that scream in her head, Katelyn was clean shaven and the barber took the blue bottle from the counter and poured the same liquid on Katelyn?s head. Their mother paid the barbers and then they went home. When they arrived Ashley and Katelyn cleaned the whole house in hopes that soon their long locks would grow back.
